Dear Backers,
We are happy to report that we have sent out surveys and we are eagerly waiting for your reply. Please answer you survey by April 27. We need the information as soon as possible to proceed to manufacture.
As you can see within the survey, the optional slide-in clip samples were received and we are very happy with the end result. It is a great add-on to keep your pen secured on the go.
We will keep you updated as we move forward into production.

Survey + optional clip

Dear Backers,
We would like to let you know that we have not sent out surveys because we are waiting for the samples of the optional clip. Manufacturing this clip requires a special mold that takes about 2 weeks to be finished and we still need to wait about 1 week to receive the samples. We will send surveys as soon as we have received them. We want to point out that delaying the survey will NOT delay the original timeframe for the project.

Dear Backers,
We want to let you know how excited we are with the results of the campaign. We would also like to thank each one of you for your support!
Kickstarter takes 2 weeks to process credit card payments and transfer the funds to us so we can commence the project. During this time Kickstarter is waiting for some backers (about 80) to update their credit card information. If you have received an email from Kickstarter saying that they were not able to process your pledge, please review your credit card information. After two weeks without updating it, these backers will automatically be dropped from the project.
This means that we need to wait 2 weeks to have the final backers roster and be able to send the survey which we expect to do during the first week of April. During the survey, you will be able to select your desired pen(s) material, and nib(s) material & size. All pens come with either polished steel or black steel nibs and you will have the option to upgrade to a titanium nib (+$40) or a 14kt solid gold nib (+$110). Nibs are interchangeable, so you will be able to purchase additional spare nibs if desired.
We have finalized the design of the pen clip and submitted it to the factory. We will most likely offer it in 3 different finishes (matte black, chrome plated, and gold plated). We have been informed that the minimum order quantity at the factory is 2000 pieces so we hope that you can order it during the survey. The cost of this optional clip is $5.
Our next update will be during the first week of April when surveys are sent through Backerkit.
